Brian Lambert’s new single “I Don’t Believe in You” has really caught our attention as of late. The 80s new wave inspired track is a collaboration between Lambert and Jr Moz Collective. Lambert’s vocals recall the work of stars from the era like Billy Idol and David Byrne, with a grit and angst to it that recalls grunge vocals from the 90s.
The production is fast paced and moody with a gritty edge to the sonics. The style combines the alt rock of the 90s from acts like REM and My Bloody Valentine with the new wave style of artists like Gary Numan. The guitar work is dirty and overdriven with splashes of synth work that add a melodic edge to the production.
