If you haven’t heard kiss hello’s new single, 10 west, you’re really missing out. Kiss Hello, the studio project by LA Based artist Linus Landucci, has returned with their 3rd full length record following the 2021 self titled release. The track is a sound collage about spending time with your friends playing golf and living life to the fullest. Linus’ vocals are a deep and rich baritone with loads of reverb and effects on it to contribute to the psychedelic vibe of the track. The vocals take more of a backseat to the production, and are mixed in a way that they sound more like an instrument itself.
The production is multi layered and ambient, and can best be described as a “sonic collage”. Acoustic guitars open to fluttery synths that wouldn’t be out of place in an old video game, slide guitar and a funky breakbeat. Fans of artists like Gorillaz and MGMT will gravitate to this style of experimental, maximalist pop. This motif of maximalist, collage like production is the main sonic motif of this, Feelings Will Follow.
