Andre Pedone-Dancing in the Dark
We can’t stop listening to Andre Pedone’s new single, Dancing in the Dark. Pedone’s new single, an acoustic folk single in the vein of the MTV unplugged era, is intimate and ethereal. Pedone’s vocals take center stage, with a lilted tenor that recalls the vocals of Jeff Buckley when he sang ballads. The only real accompaniment on this track consists of acoustic guitars, with an ocean of reverb filling the spaces. This song is perfect for a late night bonfire or gazing at the stars with the people you care about.
Casey Wells-Keep it Coming

Fans of MGMT and Tame Impala will love the new single by Casey Wells, Keep it Coming. This track is a groovy, psychedelic disco track that blends lush swirling guitars and watery Rhodes with uneasy viola samples that give the track such an interesting vibe. Casey’s vocals are a pure, almost childlike falsetto that recall the vocals of Nate Ruess. The production is trippy, with a driving rock beat and buzzy synthesizers grounding the track. The constant push and pull of easy going vs experimental makes this track especially interesting to listen to, there’s layers upon layers of sound to discover as you listen on repeat.

Ames Harding & The Mirage-Rain Won’t Fall

The last track we’ll be covering, Ames Harding & The Mirages’ Rain Won’t Fall, is certainly not one to miss. The song is a meditative indie rock track that uses rainfall and drought as a metaphor for change. The foundation for the track is loaded with groove, with a heavy, almost funk inspired baseline, Motown esque drums and clean electric guitars, with a flurry of synthesizers that could represent the rainfall. Ames Harding’s vocals have a sound that could recall Julian Casablancas of the Strokes, and he tells of the cycle of death and renewal in the song’s two parts, with a lengthy jam in the middle.
