Fans of trip hop will love the new single by nownois, Incomplete. The third single from London based artist nownois, the track is a hypnotic, slow electronic ballad. Nownois’ vocals are crystal clear, and feature plenty of stacking. The influence from Beth Gibbons of Portishead is very obvious in how she delivers the tender lyrics about feeling like you’re trapped.

The production is ambient and ever evolving. The arrangement is built around layers upon layers of synth strings that create a chilling, dark vibe to the track. Synth plucks and glitchy, 80s esque drums populate the track as it goes on. Influence from late 80s new wave acts like The Cocteau Twins and Depeche Mode is apparent in how the song is arranged and produced.
