Fans of Arctic Monkeys have got to check out Marlene Larsen’s debut single, Galore. This song is a slow, groovy indie jam with blues elements to it. Marlene’s sparkly, lilted vocals stand out among the relaxed production, with lyrics that discuss fulfillment and realizing who you are.

The instrumental is a breezy, cool indie track primarily built around layers of guitars, distant, foggy organ and slow, dry drums. The rhythm guitars recall the signature tone of Mac Demarco, while the overall vibe of the track recall the work of Beach House. Towards the end of the track, the song explodes with driven guitars and a blown out distortion effect on the vocals, which really drive home the potency of the message of the song. This is the perfect song for relaxing late at night gazing at the stars, or for a late night drive.
